6 day tour from Fes to Merzouga desert

Day 1 : Fes – Ifrane –  Atlas mountains – Ziz valley – Arfoud – Merzouga

This tour will be so amazing because you will visit ans see so many cities and villages. you will be directed to the beautiful city of merzouga. However, and before making it to this city, we will pass and halt at so many cities such as Ifrane city  that is considered as the third cleanest city in the world. Do not be amazed once you get there and see how clean it is and how mesmerizing the weather is. Once you have enjoyed ifrane, you will be taken to the cedar forest and see monkeys hinging out among the oldest trees in Morocco. After that, the road will take us to a beautiful city called Midelt in the middle atlas and have lunch there. This city is so beautiful that you will be amazed by the tizi n telghemt pass that you will take when you will leave the town. This pass is at the top of the mountain and it is surrounded by so many panoramic views that you will be happy to take pictures to. Once you pass tizi n telghemt, you will be amazed by how nature changes from being green to becoming dry and red because of rocks and sand. After that, you will make it to Merzouga through the city of erfoud and rissani.once you make it to Merzouga, we will have a tea party and take you to your riad.

Day 2 : Merzouga – Hassi labied – Khamlia – Nomad family – fossil Site – Tour of the dunes

During this special day, you will enjoy yourself among the dunes of the desert when you will be taken to see the nomad people and see how they live. Most of these people were brought from Africa during slavery era and they brought their culture with them. Music is on component of this culture and you will have the chance to enjoy it. You will also taste the  delicious food they make that is composed ofbread filled with different vegetables. After that, you will camel trek all over the desert  and among the dunes and take pictures of the beautiful sunset you will  see once the sun goes down behind the dunes. At night, you will have fun with some music around the fire in the middle of the desert. Once our party is complete, you will be directed to your tent where you will rest.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Todgha Gorge – Boumalne Dades

The early morning will be reserved for waking you up and see the beautiful sunrise among the dunes of the desert. After that, we will head to our lodging to hit the road to dades valley through rissani. The latter is very prominent because people gather every 3 days to buy and sell their flocks of goats and donkeys.  After that, we will make it to the city of tinghir  and then the goeges of todre which you will fall in love with. Once we pass todra gorges, we will finally make it to dades valley and spend the nighjt there.

Day 4: Dades Valley – kelaat M’agouna – Skoura – Ouarzazate

Today’s destination will be Kalaa M’gouna but before doing so, we will enjoy taking pictures to the various villages and kasbahs along the way to Ouarzazate. In this special day, you will have the opportunity to refresh the air because you will get the chance to visit some families specialized in planting roses in the fields and you will have the chance to buy some cosmetic products made of roses . after this long trip, you will hit the road to skoura and head to amerdil Kasbah where we will have lunch in one of the restaurants in the area. Once lunch is taken, we will head to ouarzazate where so many movies were filmed. Once the darkness seizes the place, you will be directed to your lodging to rest and sleep

Day 5 : Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – high Atlas mountain – Marrakech

In this day, we will take you to Marrakesh through tizi n tichka. However, before making it to this city, , we will visit first Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah and explore its building that were constructed by T-hami Elglaoui who built this Kasbah to be a meeting point for all the traders who come from Africa to sell and buy the prodacts in Morocco. Once these moments are being recorded, we will pass through tizi n tichka and make it to Marrakesh where you will spend the night in a local riad.

Day 6: explore the traditional Marrakech

In this very last day of our 6 days tour, we will take a long walk exploring the city of Marrakesh and we will visit the most interesting places . the city of Marrakesh is full of breath-taking monuments that will remain captive in your memory that is why you will need to take your camera with you to record everything.
